We are supporting a global real estate business with their Central sales operations. We are looking for an experienced Business Director to provide leadership, management, and development while ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded, while continually developing our client’s customer base. Do you have leadership & sales experience in either facilities services, real estate, construction or a similar related industry? If so then this may be just the role for you!
This includes service delivery, customer relationship management, P&L ownership, QHSE and regulatory compliance, people and talent management, operations management, and business development.
You will be responsible for day-to-day operational management as well as strategic leadership and development of your region. This includes driving rapid, sustainable, and profitable growth from both the existing customer base with extra works and projects, and from new business, with a leading role in sales and solution development.
You’ll champion a safety-first culture, ensuring the well-being of our people while driving sustainable growth. Representing our client’s business professionally to stakeholders and fostering strong customer relationships are crucial. You’ll oversee customer satisfaction, anticipate their needs, and maintain high-quality operational outcomes.
Leading by example, you’ll provide guidance and support to your team, fostering engagement and development. Through effective leadership, you’ll ensure clarity in objectives, encourage teamwork, and recognize achievements. Training, mentoring, and regular appraisals will be integral to cultivating a motivated and competent workforce.
In sales, you’ll steer strategic direction, manage pipelines, and empower the business development team to meet growth targets. Financially, you’ll be accountable for profit and loss, ensuring targets are met through effective cost control and revenue management. Procurement strategy and vendor management will also fall under your purview.
Your supervisory responsibilities involve line management across operations, sales, and projects. This includes recruitment, performance management, and fostering a culture aligned with our company values. Leading by example, you’ll set the standard for excellence and drive success across the region.
